We’ve added an array of new categories, so if you have a video game or MMORPG related site, add it to the list and start getting some much deserved, free, targeted gamer traffic.

World of Warcraft - Should You Pay To Play?

The big question: should you pay to play World of Warcraft?  I’ve decided to give my opinion in an evaluation of different stages in life when should you pay to play, and when should you play for free on a private server. Here are my thoughts on a few stages in life, feel free to comment below and add more stages, or experiences.

My opinions/experiences on the:

  1. High School Student
  2. College Student
  3. Newlywed
  4. New Parent
  5. Senior Citizen (Age 60+)
  •  High Schoolers: Pay to Play

With an abundance of free time, and very little responsibilities, the high schoolers are the prime market for MMORPG’s. These individuals tend to spend longer amounts of time playing in one sitting. Sometimes doing a 4-6 hour Raid several times a week, without even thinking twice. However, if you’re parents are strict with your gaming habits, start looking for a private and free to play World of Warcraft server.

  • College Students: Pay to Play

This is when I was introduced to MMORPG’s and World of Warcraft, and in my opinion, college is the prime time sweet spot for online gaming. Why? Tons of free time, no job, no parents,  and very little responsibility. As many students have discovered in the college phase of online gaming, alcohol and marijuana are often introduced into the picture as a common staple for those late night trance gaming sessions.

  •  Newlyweds: Play for Free on a Blizzard Like server

Unless your spouse shares your interest in late night Dungeon Raiding and early morning PvP, your World of Warcraft game play could start to fade at this point if it hasn’t already in your pre-marital relationship. This is when you might want to consider playing on a free World of Warcraft private server. There are literally thousands of private World of Warcraft servers that span the globe, in every language. There are many different types of servers, Blizzard Like, or, “Blizz Like” servers are targeted more toward people who still have some free time to dedicate in building up your character. These servers have the same drop rates, or slightly higher than normal drop rates for items and gold in-game.

  •   New Parents: Play for Free on a Fun Server

If you’ve played World of Warcraft on their pay to play servers, you know that there are plenty of players with children. Many will agree that the most taxing time when dealing with children is when you’re starting out raising your first child. This can be an incredibly time consuming event, and will greatly affect your World of Warcraft playing time. This is when you want to join the forbidden Fun Server. The fun server is perfect when you need that World of Warcraft quick 30 minute fix. Fun Servers can include features such as, instant maximum level, free in-game items, free gold, free mounts, free flying mounts, free gear for your character, custom created items, instant teleportation, gm controls, special/custom mounts, custom areas and islands, custom PvP events, new quests, custom battlegrounds, very high drop rates, and many more ridiculously fun features.

  • Senior Citizens & Retirees: Pay to Play

What is the one thing Senior Citizens & Retirees have so much of? That’s right: T I M E, and no I’m not talking about their life expectancy. I’m talking about their day to day routine of nothingness, and television. Why not fill that monotonous time with a payed World of Warcraft account. I don’t think it’s going to dip too deep into their monthly Social Security check. Hey, they’ll even be able to pass the time playing World of Warcraft in their retirement homes, as long as they have internet access and know how to use a computer.

Top 100 Site Upgraded

I’ve been tweaking and building new parts for the top 100 site for the past 2 weeks. I decided to change the look of the site and thus far have received great feedback, so we’ll be sticking with the new look. We’ve also changed the ranking process to be more competitive. All sites are ranked based on the number of votes in per month. This way everyone has a fair chance at the beginning of each month to climb up the list. We are open to any comments/suggestions for the topsites list.

Unlimited Nintendo Wii downloads

So, is anyone else out there sick of paying $50 for a video game? Every time I “fill up” at the local gas station, I can’t help but wonder about all of the Nintendo Wii games I could’ve purchased with the money going into my gas tank. People tell me to just rent games, but on a schedule juggling work and family, sometimes you don’t know when the next video game adventure is going to take place.

After spending about $1200 on Wii games, I started to get sick of dropping so much money on games. I scoured the internet searching for a fast, cheap, and legal alternative to spending all of my spare cash on Wii games. Through all of the usual crap, I eventually found a site which looked legit, sounded legit, and offered unlimited wii game downloads which I can directly transfer to my Wii, at the cost of a single game. It sounds way too good to be true, but I figured it was worth a shot, because if it worked, I could save thousands of dollars.

So, I sucked it up and dished out what I hoped would be my last $50 on Nintendo Wii games. The result? Well, I’m inclined to say it’s the best $50 I’ve spent in a long time. Now I have near instant, unlimited access to any game on the Nintendo Wii marketplace. When a new game is released, it is available for download within 2 days. Not the fastest turnaround, but well worth the wait for what you pay. Check It Out!
